THE HISTORICAL REFERENCE

1962 – The library of Tselinograd Pedagogical Institute was founded (the booking fund – 5504 copies)

1996 – The library has got the status of the scientific library of Eurasian national L.N.Gumilev university (ENU)

1998 – according to the order №428 from 03.08.1998 of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan the library of ENU is becoming a methodological centre for higher educational institutions of Astana and Akmola region.

2001 – The scientific centre «Otyrar library» was created on the basis of the university’s library (the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan №924 from 06.07.2001)

2008 – Automatization of library-bibliographic processes KABIS began its work

2011 – The department of electronic resources was founded
